JB Vocal Studios was founded in 2008 when Johanna Boberg decided to relocate from Los Angeles, CA to Raleigh, NC. Born and raised in Nykoping, Sweden she was always singing. "As i grew older i always knew music was going to be in my life in one way or another". She started studying music at a young age and just kept going, since a backup plan was never an option. 

After attending a music high school she decided to move to Hollywood, CA to attend Musicians Institute, (VIT & RAP). There she further grew as a musician/vocalist and eventually joining the staff for 5 years. Being a well rounded and educated vocalist gave her opportunities that took her in directions she never thought was possible. She became a sought after studio vocalist and live performer. Johanna has shared stages with Hilary Duff, Christopher Williams, Maroon 5, Rod Steward, to name a few. 
She has also appeared on TV shows like; The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen Degeneres, Much Music Awards, Today Show, GMA etc. and much more.

Since starting JBV in 2008 we have made an effort to educate our students not only in vocal technique and styling but to also be able to hold their own in this business.
